Hey there, new to the forums, so excuse me if this has been answered elsewhere...
bought an older condo last year & have been saving up money to renovate. the kitchen is boring, dark and generally awful so I'm planning on starting there. have a budget of $7500 or so. it's a tiny little galley kitchen, roughly 8' by 8' w/ a 9' ceiling. bo-ring. can't afford to move any plumbing or electrical, so kinda limited as to where the sink, stove & dishwasher can go. trying to come up with a cool design, but i'm finding the biggest problem is trying to figure out where to even begin. it's all well and good to design a great, funky kitchen when you've got a ton of space to work with, but i can't come up with anything that doesn't look more or less the same but with new cabinet doors.
When space and location are major factors, the design, door style, and functionally are paramount to a pleasant kitchen. Perhaps for a funky kitchen you could implement some stainless steel doors at certin locations.
