Hi just wondering if anyone has any ideas here for me. We are in the process of stripping sanding and staining our cabinets and we are finding out that some of the wood is nicked so bad that it looks hideous when stained, also wood all seems different. any ideas about maybe painting them but what color. any ideas are appreciated thank you so much!!!

sounds like paint is the way to go, as long as the wood isn't rotting or anything. i love the way white paitned cabinets look as long as the kids don't get fingerprints on them!!! but it kind of depends on the door style, too. what do they look like?
I would go with a Tuscan charcoal color, dark is "in" in the kitchen and you can even distress it a little , add Tuscan, medieval cabinet handles, a Tuscan Tile Mural... and voila' !!!!, you have and awesome kitchen Angelica
