Hi all

Hope you can provide me with some much needed help.

My kitchen has DARK Green Tile floor the walls are light green and the cabinets are white with a light grey counter top.

We would like to change the counter tops and the wall color but are struggling with idea's.

Any suggestions or pictures would be awesome

Sending a picture of the color combo in your kitchen would be of great help. As I understand by your question, and since you did not mention changing the dark green tile on the floor, then would you consider painting the walls red? And going with a black counter top? Change the cabinet knobs to black. What color are the appliances? If you don't like a black/red/white/green combo then do a wood look or real wood on the counter top (maple butcher block or a solid med. beige color material) - To work with the dark green tile, paint the wall a dark green with white trim around doorways and/or window frames with a white crown ceiling moulding to pull your eye up to the ceiling, matching the white cabinets.
Granted - I don't know what colors you like and don't like and I don't know the colors of the appliances and what accent colors you currently have or are willing to bring in. Yellow can be another great color to work with - but what is the style of your kitchen? Modern/Traditional etc. I would love to see a current pix of your kitchen and better color advice can be given.

In my last clients' kitchen we chose to use cork for the floors, because they had tiles and did not wanto to remove them - we placed the cork boards on them. For the counter tops and the walls above them we used granite that much resembles the pattern and the colours of the cork floor.

If you install a tile mural on the wall ,, then all colors could coordinate with that... maybe a landscape so it picks up the greens.
