My mother cooks alot, especially fish and it gets all over the house and my clothes. Is there any tips or appliance to remove the smell?

Installing a ventillation hood above the stove will help with minimizing the amount of cooking smell that makes it's way into the rest of the house. They have so many different styles and colors/finishes available these days they can add alot of character and pizzazz to a kitchen.

You can also add an air purifier to the room or to the adjacent room. When I was looking into purchasing an air purifier to my upstairs bedrooms I noticed most brands recommended placing one in or near the kitchen. In doing so I have realized it works for more than just cooking smells in our high traffic very much lived in kitchen.

Most rangehoods on the market today can be fitted with activated charcoal filters.

These filters remove all cooking smells when you recirculate the air (not duct it outside).

They are supplied by the rangehood manufacturer.
