I am SO bored with my tiny kitchen! I have white ceilings, white cabinets, white appliances(except my black toaster oven) and white tile floors. Its so boring! And I love to cook! Does anyone have any ideas to help me make this favorite space more inspired and inviting??? Bored, San Diego

My kitchen is small and all-white, too, except for the hardwood flooring. I did paint and new pulls, and I'm putting in a new overhead light. Some thoughts:
PAINT. Walls definitely, cabinets maybe.
Colorful or textured metallic knobs & pulls for the cabinets.
Artwork, even a beautiful clock on the wall.
A great-looking pot rack--assuming you have nice pots and pans.
Nice outlet plates: metallic or wood, etc.
A cool light fixture, maybe with colorful pendants?

If you have the space above your sink or stove , add a small tile mural and frame it with a rope stone tile-- so there will be a focal point -- and then coordinate some accessories around it... say a Tuscan landscape with red poppies--

So as to avoid spending a fortune on redecorating, you should try bring some colours in your kitchen in the easier way possible. Try some beautiful flowers and colorful window blinds. To make your job easier, I've found these great resources http://search.bbc.co.uk/cgi-bin/search/results.pl?q=www...l&tab=web&recipe=all . Good luck
