I've got an odd shape kitchen and need any ideas for positioning cupboards, stove, sink, fridge etc. It is 11.5foot x 8.5foot but down the end is an old woodstove that isn't allowed to be removed. I've also been told that a little table with 2 chairs must stay next to it too. So I need to put a new stove (4 everyday cooking) and I want to get as much bench space and cupboard space as I can. I've attached a photo. Any ideas of where to put what????

I take it this is a rental? If possible, I would suggest removing some of the base cabinet to creat room for a standard-size range with some elbow room and counter space on either side. This would require moving your gas or electrical hookup and ventilation, however. Then you could add some upper cabinets for additional storage--it looks like there is plenty of wall space.
