I really want to open up the wall between my kitchen and dining room to make the house flow better. But that means losing the cabinets on that wall. I'm thinking maybe I could do a hutch in the dining room to replace it--any other ideas?

hey found this information on the site...might want to take a look. It offers an interesting approach to storage without having cabinetry

If you have all drawers in your base units instead of doors you will increase your storage by approx 30% thus negating the need for wall cabinet storage.
