I have been quoted between $10K - 15K to remodel my kitchen, including new cabinet, granite countertop, appliances, etc.

The new appliances will be around $5K, the new cabinets around $10K. Is it typical for the contractor labor fees to be as much as the product being intalled?

Also, in my area refacing cabinets costs as much as buying new medium-grade cabinets so refacing isn't always logical. Any thoughts?
Thank for any input.

Labor can easily cost as much as product, if not more. Rates are higher in certain parts of the country.

And yes, refacing can cost as much as new cabinets. Solid surface or quartz counters can cost as much as granite, too.
