I have the Gaggenau built in doulbe wall ovens( don't have model # at the moment. They were installed in our new home in 2000. Last Oct one of them started locking when I was baking and would not open. We tried everything - shutting off the circuit breaker, turning oven off etc. Had a circuit board replaced to the tune of a couple hundred $. Problem not fixed. Gaggenau offered to replace the ovens for $3700 - not a solution in my book. Apparently they don't know how to fix this and now I am stuck with replacing ovens that are 7 yrs od and very expensive. I had a GE oven that worked for over 20 yrs.

Don't buy them - they're not worth it. I love to cook and bake but I'm going to Thermador.
