Hello everyone,
We are planning some kitchen remodeling with appliance updates . We are very interested in Wolf and Viking professional ranges and refrigerators, etc, but we are not so sure about the stainless look. We have brass cabinet hardware, brass lighting over the island and brass faucets, etc. We had not really planned to replace all of that. Any ideas on how those would look mixed together, with granite countertops?

Mixing finishes is generally OK; however, brass has not been popular for a while. Brushed or satin nickel or oil-rubbed bronze predominate; copper and brushed bronze are coming on strong.

You may find that once you make those updates, you'll want to freshen the look of the cabinet knobs, maybe even the faucet. You could choose hardware that is mostly silver-tone with some brass detail. That said, I see nothing wrong with mixing metals, especially if, for instance, your granite has cool and warm tones together, blending gray (stainless) with gold (brass).
