I keep finding that I'm drawn to the more expensive cabinets but don't have the budget. Does anyone have any advice for a person with champagne tastes and a beer budget?

If you want a good deal on cabinets go visit your local kitchen dealers and find out when they plan on selling some of their displays. Most kitchen dealers need to rotate/sell their displays so they can show the new cabinet products that are being introduced by the cabinet manufacturers they represent. If the displays don't fit exactly the kitchen dealer should be able to order additonal parts and or cabinets as needed.

I also like steak on a hamburger budget.Kraftmaid make cabinets in different qualities, but same color. I ordered premium base drawers, but for top cabs,lower quality. I re-used old cabinets and bought new matching doors. Ikea can provide accent or island cabs at a lower price, they look expensive. Go with high end on one wall or Island for accent and simple on rest of project. Good Luck

I joined a buyer's club and some of the deals are pretty good. There might be one near you. Be careful. Make sure you are getting a real deal, not just "flash 'n dash" and make-believe prestige.

We can get a supply only kitchen at National Kitchens, their units are rigid too.
