Just wondering if you have any information comparing Mid Continent Cabinetry (MN) to the KraftMaid cabinetry.

I am interested in quality and comparisons on the durability of each. I know KraftMaid has a good name but I want to know more about MC.

thanks

One big difference between the two brands is that Mid-Continent is stock cabinetry while KraftMaid is semi-custom. KraftMaid offers a lot more choices: frameless cabinetry as well as framed, more contemporary styles, more accessories.

That said, if your preferences fall within the range of what Mid-Continent offers, there's no reason not to go with them.

I'd say one of the most important things is the overall thickness of the wood used for the cabinets and the structure of the cabinets. I'd take both of these into consideration. 1/4 of an inch of wood can make a huge difference.
