Hello,

While researching countertop materials for my new kitchen I came across the wooden countertops made by Spekva, a Danish manufacturer. I see that they can also be had from distributors stateside. Does anyone have any experience with wooden countertops in general or Spekva in particular? Are they very easily damaged or are they fairly hardy? And if anyone has any experience with Spekva, are their counters phenomenally expensive, or could one get something reasonable (as long as its not too fancy)?

Hey, I found a kitchen on this site that used Spekva. It looks beautiful. Maybe you could get in touch with the designer who did it.
