HELP!

My husband and I just bought our first house and it has baby blue countertops. We would love to be able to replace them, but since the house is a foreclosure, we're having to redo a lot of it and that may not fall into the budget.

The countertops are in perfect condition (unlike the rest of the house), except for the color. Our cabinets are oak colored, and we want to put in a light colored ceramic tile on the floor. Our appliances will be silver/black.

How do I decorate around the blue countertops???

Hi; did you get any replies/suggestions? I have the same situation in a rental unit. Am thinking I'll just learn to love baby blue, LOL! I've been told it's currently very fashionable (dark wood/blue countertops) per Martha Stewart and Crate and Barrel, but have yet to find verification of this assertion on the web. What kind of tops are they? Laminate, Corian? Do you have a backsplash?
