I am looking for advice on maintenance for granite and marble countertops. We just got new ones and we were told that they have been factory sealed. Should we use an additional sealant? How often do they need to be resealed?

Even if they were sealed before installation, you should reapply a sealant to the marble every 6-8 months and to the granite every year or two to maintain the loook, and keep them protected.
